Education is an integral part of OSTRALE, spanning everything from the curatorial concept and spatial design to participatory educational formats. It enables visitors to engage with the themes presented through a variety of media and discursive formats. Participants are regarded as active partners in the process of interpretation and learning. Inclusive and accessible communication models focus on participation, exchange and discourse.
Our aim is to make contemporary art accessible to as many people as possible and to open up different perspectives. Our aim is to stimulate critical thinking among the public through engagement with contemporary art, to enable new perspectives, to strengthen the ability to reflect on social issues, and to foster empathy – in order to make the world a little better.
OSTRALE is accessible and offers a diverse programme of guided tours, accompanying events and seminars.
