Inclusion
We are constantly striving to make our exhibitions accessible to all.
OSTRALE actively undertakes numerous projects and partnerships to improve access to art for disadvantaged groups. Visitors of all ages and backgrounds are welcome – regardless of their ethnic, religious or cultural background.
We regularly offer accessible special tours for visitors with visual or hearing impairments.
Sign language tour / Tour for blind and visually impaired visitors

during opening hours, by prior booking only

The "AllSense app" was developed specifically to cater to the unique features of the OSTRALE exhibition and provides key information and descriptions of the artworks on display in audio and sign language. It is also available for other visitors to use.
With the support of Aktion Mensch, a visual, tactile and sign language guidance system has been developed, enabling visitors with visual or hearing impairments to experience the exhibition through their respective senses.
In close collaboration with regional special schools, we work together to develop specialised guided tours.
As a member of #WOD – Weltoffenes Dresden, which actively promotes cultural exchange between local residents and refugees, we continuously create opportunities to foster a strong sense of community.
#WOD Weltoffenes Dresden is an alliance of Dresden's cultural institutions committed to a cosmopolitan society, solidarity, democratic values, and the diversity and freedom of art and culture.
