The wind blows from the East, from Dresden, painting, sculpture, photography, light-, video-, intstallation- and performance art: The OSTRALE is an international exhibition, which presents every year contemporary art of all genres in the Ostragehege area of Dresden. The exchange with the European Capital of Culture Wrocław shows positions from Dresden and therefore underlines the partnership between the two cities on a cultural level. At the same time, artists from Wrocław are exhibiting in Dresden at the OSTRALE O16 happening there.

The project is co-financed through the Polish Ministry for Culture and National Heritage, the Free State of Saxony as well as the city of Dresden – the office of the mayor, Department of European and International Affairs.
